Travelling north on the A1, take the A1068 signposted to Alnwick and follow signs for the town centre. At Barter Books (the old Alnwick station) turn left following signs for Shire Pottery, this is now Prudhoe Street. Go past the police station and Shire Pottery and we are on the left opposite St Paul¦s Church Travelling south on the A1, take the B1340 into Alnwick, following signs for The Alnwick Garden, go past The Garden to the junction with the war memorial, turn left and then sharp right. This is Prudhoe Street and the directions above apply
