Formerly an early primitive Methodist meeting house and now a beef and sheep rearing farm CWMLLECHWEDD FAWR stands on an old drover’s route a mile and a half from the Glyndwrs Way national trail. With nearest neighbours nearly a mile away, guests can enjoy peace and tranquility in abundance. All the rooms are spacious and have their own distinct character with views of the gardens and surrounding countryside. There are wonderful views from the veranda in front of the house and you can stroll to the top of the farm at 1600 feet to take in the views of Pen y Fan and the Brecon Beacons on a clear day. Explore the grounds and make use of the local footpaths and bike trails – washing facilities, repair kits and safe storage available. From Llandrindod Wells take A483 north. Go straight over roundabout at Crossgates and continue on A483 for 7 miles until you see a sign for Llanbister on your right. Turn right and continue through Llanbister village up onto the moors. When you come down the other side of a very steep hill there is a chapel on your right. Turn left here and farm is 300 metres on your right
