GILL FARM is a large Georgian farmhouse dated 1740, on a beef and sheep farm. Set in a large garden in peaceful countryside yet only 3 miles from M6 (junction 44). Follow A7 to Blackford and signs to Scaleby. Convenient for travellers to/from Scotland. Ideal situation for Hadrian’s Wall, Scottish Borders and Carlisle and day trips to the Lake District. Enjoy the relaxed and friendly welcoming atmosphere in this family home. Closed January.  Prices now reduced to those in 2016.

LEAVE THE M6 AT JUNCTION 44 JUST NORTH OF CARLISLE. TAKE FOURTH EXIT OFF ROUNDABOUT SIGNPOSTED (A7) NORTH, TOWARDS LONGTOWN. AFTER 1.5 MILES AT BLACKFORD, TURN RIGHT SIGNPOSTED SCALEBY, CLIFF AND LONGPARK. AFTER 200 YARDS TURN RIGHT TO SCALEBY AND BRAMPTON. FOLLOW THIS ROAD FOR 0.75 MILE AND TURN LEFT AT SIGNPOST FOR WHAMTOWN AND KIRKLINTON. FOLLOW THIS ROAD FOR 1.5 MILES AND YOU WILL SEE A BED AND BREAKFAST SIGN AT THE END OF THE FARM DRIVE
