THE DRAEN (Welsh for Thorne tree) is a 400 year old farmhouse with lots of character, nestling at the end of a lane, amongst rolling fields with views to The Black Mountains. Ideally situated for the Hay Festival, the Royal Welsh Show and Brecon Jazz. A tranquil place to relax after a busy day exploring the National Park. Plenty of wildlife to see in surrounding area including badgers. Look out for the red kite & the buzzard flying high. Attractive, comfortable and well equipped rooms.
