The north coast of Cornwall with its popular surfing beaches is only an hour away.  A delicious Cornish cream tea or homemade cakes await you on your arrival and in the morning enjoy a hearty Cornish breakfast using local produce, special diets catered for with advance notice.  There is plenty to see and do on your holiday in the area – the local beaches at Looe and Talland Bay, the picturesque harbour and narrow streets of Polperro, the Eden Project and many Cornish gardens. For the more energetic there is walking the coast path, fishing trips, golf and horse riding. There are good shopping centres at Plymouth and Truro. If you wish to have a car-free holiday there are buses running at regular intervals between Looe and Polperro, and you can use the train from Looe to travel further afield.
