AUSTONS DOWN is a modern Queen Anne style family home set in 100 acres of the Arden special landscape area. 25 minutes from NEC and 10 minutes from Shakespeare’s Stratford upon Avon and historic Warwick with its castle. Visitors can walk around the farm and inspect the flock of Jacobs Sheep and the family’s horses in the pasture surrounding the house. There are many beautiful walks just a step from the front door. National Trust properties of Packwood House, Upton House and Bosworth battlefields are within reach and for classic car enthusiasts there is easy access to Gaydon Heritage centre, National Motorcycle Museum, Coventry Motor Museum and Stratford Armouries. From the north leave the M40 at Juction 16 and turn right at the top of the slip road onto the A3400 towards Henley in Arden. In Henley in Arden turn left onto the A4189 and pass through Claverdon and over the railway bridge. Saddlebow Lane is on the left hand side about 250 metres from the railway bridge. From Warwick take the A4189 from Warwick towards Henley in Arden and Redditch. Proceed about 4 miles. Saddlebow Lane is the third turning to the left after crossing the M40 and about 0.75 km down the lane on the left hand side of road signposted to Wolverton and Snitterfield. Austons Down is on the right 500 metres from the junction just as the road levels out.
