Nearest town or village: ArrathorneOn the A1 - From the South, leave at junction 51 and follow the signs to Bedale and Leyburn, this will take you round the new Bedale by-pass. On the final roundabout turn right towards Leyburn (Bedale will be to your left). Just through the village of Patrick Brompton turn right at the cross roads (signposted to Hunton, Hauxwell, Catterick and a brown tourist sign to Elmfield House!). We are about 1.5 miles down this road on the right. From the North, leave at the newly created junction for Colburn and follow the signs to Richmond and Catterick Garrison. At Camp Centre roundabout (near Aldi) turn left (signposted for Scotton and Patrick Brompton). Continue straight ahead for 2.5 miles. Elmfield House is on your left, shortly after the cross roads for Hornby and Hunton.
