Award winning GOWANBRAE B&B is a lovely Victorian house in the centre of Dufftown, recognised as the Malt Whisky Capital of the world with distilleries like Glenfiddich, Mortlock and Balvenie to name a few, in close proximity. During the summer months and other special events, the famous Keith and Dufftown Railway is operational which provides an idyllic opportunity, to relax and capture the majestic countryside allowing you nothing but to enjoy the views. The railway runs for 11 miles from Dufftown railway station to Keith via Drummuir. Away from the railway and whisky tours there is the opportunity for walking, golf, fishing and skiing. All rooms have the benefit of ensuite shower rooms, freeview tv’s with in built DVD players, USB ports and refreshments. WiFi is available throughout the property. There is a guests’ lounge with a small DVD collection if you would like to watch a film or listen to some music.
