OLD MILL FARM is situated in the picturesque village of High Hurstwood in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house is on a 50 acre grazing farm which offers a very relaxing and peaceful stay. The accommodation is full of character, some in an adjoining, well converted cow-standing. Nearby Ashdown Forest is ideal for walking and there are many National Trust properties within easy reach. A good base for visiting the glorious South Downs. Tunbridge Wells is only 12 miles away and Gatwick 20 miles. Free WiFi. Single room rate £40.00.

I was browsing through old photos of a trip in the South of England in 1999 and came accross a photo of a view of the downs, shot through one of the windows of Old Mill Farm, Uckfield.
It revived fond memories of a nice stay with, and a warm welcome by what must have been your parents or predecessors.
Due to special circumstances in my own life at the time, Old Mill Farm is one of the anchors in my memory of England, which I visit from time to time mentally.
Kind regards
