Directions & Map
Nearest town or village: AbingdonDirections from A34 travelling south - At the Wendlebury Interchange roundabout of the A34 with the M40, take the A34 South exit (signposted Oxford, Newbury). After around 14.5 miles, take the Abingdon North exit left off the A34, at the top of the slip-road at the T-junction turn left onto the A4183. After around three quarters of a mile, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the Oxford Road – A4183 (signposted Town Centre) After around a quarter of a mile (just after a set of pelican traffic lights), there is an active speed camera on this stretch of road. Travel approximately another 150 yards past the speed camera where you will then see a Tourism Brown Sign directing you to turn right into Wheatcroft Close. (This turning is immediately in front of a bus stop for buses coming towards you and heading for Oxford). You will then see a further Brown Sign that directs you to turn immediately left into Oxford Road; now you will be behind the bus stop on a service road that runs parallel to the main road. No 136 is the first house now on your right with a block-paved driveway and spaces marked out for all guests to park. At night, there are low level lights on the side of the pillars marking the entrance to the drive.

The Green Book led a friend and me to this wonderful B and B, voted by my companion as the best she had ever been to and I would second that!
Our hostess, Terry, has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable and for those with disability the lift and specially adapted bedroom are a bonus.
Breakfast was generous with an extensive menu. There is even a microwave in the dining room for those (like ourselves) not wanting to go out for an evening meal. It could not have been better.
Your recommendation proved 100% reliable! Thank you
