Winner of Rural Guest House of the year in the Yorkshire Prestige awards 2021/22, this 17th century listed former farmhouse nestles into the quiet countryside and the surrounding farming community in between both the Yorkshire Dales and Peak District National Parks. It has many original features including ancient oak beams and mullioned windows.  Book lined walls in the hall, where guests can sit and browse, and an open fire in the sitting room add to the cosy ambience. Each bedroom has courtesy trays, biscuits, toiletries and fresh flowers for traditional country living. Each room has its own style and décor giving them a very homely feel with windows opening on to the glorious gardens and fields surrounding the farm. There are plenty of country walks from the house. Judith is a trained cook and an excellent three course dinner plus coffee (£25) is available.

Public transport:- Bus runs every 30 minutes from bus stop just outside the gate.
