This is a great place to stay and has the added bonus of warm and friendly hosts. Set in a peaceful location with great views across the Cornish countryside. The caravan is more than big enough for a family of 5 and had everything we needed. The Wifi was amazing considering you’re in a field which was pleasing for the kids. The two donkeys kept them amused for long periods of time and they enjoyed feeding them carrots and the odd polo mints as well as getting to ride one of them. Carol and Richard are very warm and welcoming and have shown great integrity by not cashing in on the demand for places to stay in Cornwall, my upmost respect for that. Overall a great place with great hosts, there would be no reason not to return again and again.

Excellent bed and breakfast, Carol and Richard are great hosts and go out of their way to ensure that you have a very memorable stay. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious with a great choice and are all freshly cooked – a very welcome start to the day. The attention to detail, – like the snowdrops picked from the garden in the bedroom are a special touch. I would not hesitate in recommending Treglown House to any one staying in this beautiful area.

We had a lovely week at Carol’s caravan. Carol and Richard were very kind and hospitable hosts. The caravan was lovely and cleaned and aired out before we arrived. Due to Covid, we did have to bring our own bedding and towels so do expect to have a couple of extra bags in your car. However having our bedding also immediately made it feel more like home. One plus thing for us was that the Shower was very strong which is great and wasn’t what I expected in a caravan in the middle of a fi eld. The views are amazing and we spent a couple of nights sitting outside spotting constellations, satellites and shooting stars. We are absolutely in love with the donkeys and will now need to get one. Richard kindly gave my son a few donkey rides as well! What a bonus!

Carol and Richard are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. From the minute you walk in you feel part of their family. Accommodation is first class and breakfast is the best we have ever experienced. We will return as soon as possible.

We recently stayed for just one night at Treglown House B & B in Cornwall. The hosts Carole and Richard greeted us with afternoon tea and then proceeded to make us feel entirely at home during the entire stay. The breakfast was fantastic and equal to the best we have had during our 7 weeks of travel. The fresh fruits and berries, rhubarb, yoghurt, and cooked breakfast were all superb with many fresh ingredients (including eggs, honey etc) sourced from Carole & Richards own farm. The property is set in a rural location near the small village of St.  Mabyn and the en-suite room was very comfortable and homely. Thank you to Carole & Richard for your warm hospitality and sharing your home with us.

We have just spent 5 wonderful days in Cornwall, based at Treglown House – my 2 girls, aged 11 and 9 yrs absolutely loved it here-having a ride on the donkey, Paddy , collecting the eggs each day from the “happy hens” and being in and around the farm. A perfect location close to so many beautiful beaches. Carol and Richard were the perfect hosts-with a wealth of knowledge about the area, and very useful tips and recommendations, loaning of maps etc. Etc. – I can’t put into words how hard they work to ensure guest have an enjoyable and relaxing stay with them. The rooms are clean the bed is comfortable, plenty of storage for clothes etc. The breakfast is abundant and heart y, with a choice to cater all palates-they really are genuinely 2 of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure to meet. We travelled back the day before my birthday and they even bought me a birthday card =there are not many people in this world who would do that for someone they had met only 5 days previously. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone-whether you’re a single traveller, a couple or family.

Lovely place and awesome base to see places around. Carol and her husband Richard were the best hosts we have met for years. They were coming every morning (not to early) asking how are we, how was our trip and advising what is worth to see next and all suggestions was spot on. Caravan is on field separated from carol’s home and you also have feeling of privacy. They also have 2 donkeys and Richard took our boys for a ride on Paddy which is one of the donkeys. Recommend to everyone and definitely will come back. BEST HOLIDAY IN YEARS.
