Walshaw Lodge Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire HX7 7AX

7 miles from HEBDEN BRIDGE   9 miles from COLNE

Built in the 19th Century as a hunting lodge for the surrounding grouse moors WALSHAW LODGE  has been extensively restored to provide luxurious accommodation in the heart of open countryside.  Three staircases lead up to the bedrooms which are individually designed and full of character, tastefully equipped with crisp bed linens and carefully chosen furnishings.  Breakfasts are served in the elegant dining room using locally-sourced ingredients cooked to perfection.  This is also where you can enjoy a spectacular and delicious 3 or 4 course evening meal.  Your hostess is a busy pianist, playing at an international level.  On request she will play one of the many compositions written specifically for her on one of the three grand pianos in the house.  Nestled in National Trust land this remote setting enjoys extensive views of the Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way passes through the grounds.
