If there is one thing the Team at B&B Nationwide have noticed in our many years of experience in the Bed and Breakfast Tourism industry, it is that all of our lovely B&B Hosts share a common bond – they are all keen to impart their local knowledge and experiences to ensure their guests’ stay in their very own ‘neck of the woods’ is truly special!

Blenheim Lodge , nestled on a quiet hilltop, just a 5 minute walk from Bowness centre and Lake Windermere, as well as being centrally situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park, is a great example of this! Having moved to Blenheim Lodge in 2002, our B&B Hosts embarked on their adventure of running a Bed and Breakfast with the aim of ensuring a relaxed stay for visitors. With much local information to impart, they have produced a series of fascinating Blogs – ‘Walking at Greenside Mine’ makes for an interesting read, highlighting a lesser-known destination for Walkers in the Helvellyn range of fells near Ullswater.

Blenheim Lodge is now taking bookings for its planned re-opening on 17 May. Built in 1868 as a Lakeland retreat, Blenheim Lodge retains much of its charming Victorian character – a fabulous base for visitors keen to explore the surrounding area and perfect for Dales Way walkers.
