As 2016 marks the Year of the English Garden, there are plenty of inspiring shows and spectacular gardens open for your enjoyment around the country. Get off to an early start for gardening ideas and tips with the first RHS Flower Show of the year held 5 – 8 May in the Three Counties Showground of Malvern, Worcestershire, followed by the famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show, London from 24 – 28 May.
This year, The National Gardens Scheme is holding a festival weekend 4 – 5 June, where there will be more than 400 special gardens opening across England and Wales, a rare treat not to be missed! As we savour the summer months, you can expect advice from top experts and award-winning show gardens at the BBC Gardeners World Live, held at the NEC Birmingham from 16 – 19 June, or continue your garden appreciation with a visit to RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Surrey (5 – 10 July), or the Parklands at Tatton Park, the backdrop for another amazing flower show (20 – 24 July).
For those of you wishing to indulge the taste buds, the Malvern Autumn Show, Worcestershire is not only a celebration of gardening, but food and drink too, and last but not least, enjoy the taste of autumn at RHS London Harvest Festival Show (4 – 5 October).
