1. Book direct with the Bed and Breakfast Host
Simply contact the host of your choice with your requirements using the ‘contact details’ section on their page (some have a Room Availability Link). You should confirm all prices at the time of booking – and please bear in mind that many of our hosts are not able to accept credit cards.
Please remember that a booking is a contract in English Law. The contract is between the guest and the B&B owner. There may be a fee to pay in the event of a cancellation of a booking made direct with a B&B. Each B&B has its own policy regarding cancellations, please check with your host at the time of booking.
2. Use the Bed and Breakfast Nationwide Booking Service
Please note, we are unable to make a booking within 7 days of your first night, or provide instant information about availability as this is constantly changing with the B&B as they have other bookings.
As part of our booking service, we do all the telephoning, confirmation and payment involved in a booking. This is especially useful for overseas guests who would like some assistance or when requiring accommodation for several different locations, or for anyone wishing to pay by credit card. How to use this service:1. Find the B&B you want to stay in.
2. Click the red “Enquire/Book Now” button, top left of the individual B&B’s page. 3. Fill in the form and make a booking request.
To book an alternative B&B for the same date, or to book further dates and B&Bs, repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
Once we have received your request, we will telephone the host/s to check availability. We try to reply to your request within 48 working hours with details of a provisional booking.
The prices we will quote will include accommodation with a full cooked breakfast (unless an alternative is stated), all taxes and a booking fee of 10%-15% for using this service (minimum £10.00).
Confirming Your Booking
Please contact us within 3 days to confirm the reservation with your payment details. We ask for a non-refundable deposit of 15% to secure the accommodation. For payment details see below.
We will then send you all the information for your chosen B&B(s) including travelling directions.
If you do not require the accommodation we would be grateful if you would let us know as soon as possible.
If we do not hear from you within 3 days, we will have to release the accommodation.
Paying for your confirmed booking
We take a deposit when your booking is confirmed by you. All payments are taken via PayPal, an internationally recognised secure payment system. You do not need to have a PayPal account yourself, just a credit/debit card.
The balance of payment is due not later than 28 days before the first night of the booking. For bookings made within 28 days full payment is due immediately.
IF THE BALANCE OF PAYMENT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ANY REASON ON THE DUE DATE, THE BOOKING WILL BE CANCELLED. THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Cancellation of any booking will only be accepted in writing or by email. In the event of a cancellation more than 21 days before the reservation, all monies paid less deposit will be returned to the guest.
In the event of a cancellation less than 21 days before the first reservation, the guest will be liable for the whole amount of the booking. B&B Nationwide will encourage the host to re-let the accommodation and, if successful, will refund all monies collected less deposit.
GUESTS ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO TAKE OUT APPROPRIATE HOLIDAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE
Bed & Breakfast Nationwide Ltd acts only as agents and the booking contract shall be made between the guest and the property owner. Bed & Breakfast Nationwide Ltd shall have no liability in contract, tort or otherwise for death, injury, or loss to clients except to the extent that such liability is imposed by law and cannot be excluded or restricted.
Any dispute or claim against Bed & Breakfast Nationwide Ltd or the person providing accommodation shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English Courts. All bookings are made on the understanding that the accommodation will be available on the date booked unless the owner is unable to provide the accommodation due to circumstance beyond their control (e.g. damage to property).
In those circumstances, Bed & Breakfast Nationwide Ltd will endeavour to provide alternative accommodation. If this is either unacceptable or not possible, all monies received from the client will be returned and the client will have no further claim against the owner or the agents. Bed and Breakfast Nationwide Ltd cannot be held responsible for any problems or delays from circumstances beyond their control such as strikes, postal delays or force majeure.
Errors and Omissions
Although the information about the homes has been prepared with great care and with the current information available, Bed & Breakfast Nationwide Ltd cannot be held responsible for any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Bed & Breakfast Nationwide Ltd has made every effort possible to ensure themselves of the quality of their establishments but cannot be held responsible in the case of any dissatisfaction by a visitor.
